The story behind the films, photography and the name MondoVision.
I'm Des
PHOTOGRAPHY STARTED IT.
LIFE MADE IT BIGGER.
Photography is where all of this began. Chasing light, landscapes, storms, waterfalls, stars and those brief moments when everything lines up.
But somewhere along the way, I realised the story around the photograph was often just as interesting as the photograph itself.
The places we live. The people we meet. The trips that go to plan and the ones that don't. Everyday life, family, travel, photography and whatever comes next.
That's what MondoVision is now. A way of documenting life while we're actually living it.
The Name
WHY
MONDOVISION?
Mondo was my nickname growing up, coming from Desmond.
Photography was where all of this started, but over time the channel became about much more than taking photos.
It became about the places we go, the people we meet and the way I see and document life.
MondoVision just felt like the right name for what it had become.
